Ada Vox advanced to the top 14 on Monday’s episode of “American Idol.”

On Sunday, Vox received a standing ovation from the judges for her cover of “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone. Vox kept up her winning streak with a duet of “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked” featuring Lea Michele.

“This talent is out of control,” Michele told Ryan Seacrest after the performance.

The judges continued to praise Vox with Lionel Ritchie telling her “A star is born. There’s no know denying your presence. There’s no denying your voice. You are a statement. I applaud you.”

Katy Perry stated that “Your sound transcends words” and Luke Bryan commended Vox’s switch from R&B to Broadway.

Vox will compete in the top 14 on Sunday, April 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
