As part of her 60th-birthday tour, drag legend Sherry Vine will bring her Smoke and Mirrors tour to Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company on Saturday, March 9 at 8 PM. This outrageous extravaganza, presented in partnership with The Washington Blade, features special guest stars and new parodies, including Kylie, Bruce Springsteen, ABBA, Broadway, and Britney. Tickets start at $35, with a select number of $100 VIP tickets available, which includes premium seating, Woolly and Sherry Vine merch, and a pre-show meet-and-greet and photo op with Sherry. The star and writer of The Sherry Vine Variety Show, who describes herself as a “cougar, broken down ex-showgirl with a heart of gold,” grew up in Baltimore and started performing theatre at a young age. She discovered drag performance at the University of Southern California and has since toured the world and entertained audiences for three decades with her edgy performances and hilarious song parodies.
