D.C. Rawhides event raised funds for youth scholarship
The D.C. Rawhides hosted a night of country dancing at Town Danceboutique on Saturday. The event, “Town and Country,” served as a fundraiser for Team D.C. and Team D.C.’s LGBT High School Athlete Scholarship Fund.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
