Friday, December 10
Women in Their Twenties and Thirties will meet at 8 p.m. on Zoom. WiTT is a social discussion group for queer women in the Washington, D.C. area and a great way to make new friends and meet other queer women in a fun and friendly setting. For meeting updates, join WiTT’s closed Facebook group.
Friday Tea Time and social hour for Older LGBTQ+ adults will be at 2 p.m. on Zoom. Feel free to bring your beverage of choice. For the Zoom link or more information, contact Justin ([email protected]).
Saturday, December 11
CAKE: Onesie Wonderland will be at 9 p.m. at The Crown & Crow. DJ Chord will perform a wintery mix of dance, pop, and throwback beats. Part of the proceeds of all ticket sales will go directly to the Capital Pride organization. More details are available on Eventbrite.
Universal Pride Meeting will be at 1 p.m. on Zoom. This group seeks to support, educate, empower, and create change for People with Disabilities (PWD). The group facilitator will be actor and disability advocate Andy Arias and can be contacted with any questions at [email protected].
Sunday, December 12
Tropic Sundaze DC will be at 3 p.m. at Decades DC. This event will have non-stop music from a crossover of genres, dancing, and good vibes. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
Trauma-sensitive gentle yoga will be at 6 p.m. at Eaton DC. This class offers trauma-informed approaches for an alignment-based, gentle Vinyasa (flow) suitable for all levels. More event details are available on Eventbrite.

Center Aging: Women’s Social & Discussion Group will be at 6 p.m. on Zoom. This inaugural event is a place where older queer women can meet and socialize with one another. Tuesday, December 14
Coming Out Discussion Group will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom and at the DC Center for the LGBTQ Community. This is a peer-facilitated discussion group and a safe space to share experiences about coming out and discuss topics as it relates to doing so. Trans Support Group will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This support group is intended to provide emotionally and physically safe space for trans* people and those who may be questioning their gender identity/expression to join together in community and learn from one another. Wednesday, December 15
BookMen DC will be at 7:30p.m. on Zoom. This is an informal group of men who are interested in gay literature (both fiction and non-fiction). Most participants live in or near Washington D.C. but a few members from outside the Beltway and visitors to D.C. are always welcome to drop in and join the discussion. “Hidden in Plain Sight” will be at 7 p.m. at Sully District Police Station – Community Room. This program is an IN-PERSON interactive program for adults to be educated about the signs of risky behavior in teens and young adults. “Estrogenius: Funny Females Funding House of Ruth!” will be at 7 p.m. at O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub. House of Ruth offers comprehensive support for women, children and families. Its continuum of services encompasses enriched housing for families and single women, trauma-informed daycare for children, and free counseling to empower anyone, regardless of gender, who is a survivor of trauma and abuse. DC SAFE and the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs will host “The Relationship Lab” at 6 p.m. This is a four-week series for LGBTQ+ communities exploring love, boundaries, communication, and connection. South Asian LGBTQ+ Support Group will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. KHUSHDC provides a safe, confidential space for South Asian LGBTQ community members to come together and share experiences. The peer support group is an outlet for South Asian-identified LGBTQ individuals to come and talk about anything affecting them. It’s a secure, judgement-free environment to discuss relationships, sexuality, health, well-being, identity, culture, religion, or anything that is on your mind. The DC LGBTQ+ Community Center will host screenings of “Princess Sparkles” and “Kiloran Bay” at 1:30 p.m. “Kiloran Bay” is a 13-minute musical short set amid the wild beauty of the Scottish Hebrides and the fierce joy of a wedding cèilidh. “Princess Sparkles” is about a girl who accidentally signs up to pet-sit a princess only to discover she’s actually a nippy, Fox News-watching pig.
