Tom Goss and Jeffrey Johnson are performing a special show, “Under the Covers,” for two nights at Black Fox Lounge (1723 Connecticut Ave., N.W.) on Oct. 21-22 at 8 p.m.
The show will feature Goss and Johnson performing mostly covers of songs by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz and more.
The audience will see both artists come out of their comfort zone.
“I have made it a rule to play almost no covers. I think in some regards that has dissected me from what it is that taught me to love music,” Goss says in a press release and Johnson, best known as the pink-haired Special Agent Galactica, will not be performing in character.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at tomgossmusic.net or pinkhairedone.com.
