‘Book of Life’ reading for World AIDS Day
As part of the World AIDS Day commemoration tomorrow, Celebration of Community will host a reading of the “Book of Life”— a compilation of names of those lost to HIV/AIDS collected in Baltimore over more than 15 years, along with music and remembrances of people who have died in the past year. It will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Community Church of Baltimore, 401 W. Monument St.
Anyone wishing to read names from the book, and share names of their own may do so. Short biographies of individuals who have died since December 2011 to be shared during the program are requested. To submit biographies or for more information call 443-421-9090.
