Eight-time Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz performs Saturday at 10 a.m. at the 21st annual Capital Jazz Fest at Merriweather Post Pavilion (10475 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD).

Koz will play alongside special guests Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright and Richard Eliot to promote his upcoming album “Dave Koz and Friends Summer Horns,” scheduled for release Tuesday.

The first single on the new album, a cover of “Got to Get You in My Life” by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, is already the No. 1 Most Added Song on Billboard this week. Koz is gay.
