Prime Timers of Baltimore, a social/support organization of mature gay men and those who admire them, will meet Sunday, Sept. 8. The general meeting and potluck dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, St. Paul and 20th streets.

The guest speaker will be Richard Oloizia, a librarian who has prepared a photo-illustrated talk of the history of the LGBT community around Charles Village, providing many dates, names and specific programs and activities since the late 1970s to the present. He will describe the cohesiveness and diversity of the community during the early years. Assisting Oloizia will be Louis Hughes. Oloizia and Hughes will lead a Mount Vernon LGBT history walking tour on Oct. 19 for Baltimore Heritage.
