In celebration of the NHL’s Hockey is For Everyone month, the Washington Capitals will host their first ever Pride Night on Feb. 27.

Players will have rainbow tape wrapped on their sticks which will be auctioned off to benefit You Can Play, a campaign geared towards eliminating homophobia in sports.

Capitals goalie Braden Holtby, who has marched in the Capital Pride parade for two years, was named the Capital’s You Can Play Ambassador last year.

Other notable events occurring in Hockey is For Everyone month is a visit from Fatima Al Ali  and the United Arab Emirates women’s hockey team on Feb. 7-12, a Military night on Feb. 20 and a Black History in Hockey Night on Feb. 24.
