Six veterans handcuffed themselves to the White House fense to protest the military's 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy. (Washington Blade photo by Michael Key)

Lt. Dan Choi and five other LGBT service members handcuffed themselves to the White House fence April 20 to again protest “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Choi was joined by Capt. Jim Pietrangelo, Petty Officer Larry Whitt, Petty Officer Autumn Sandeen, Cadet Mara Boyd and Airman Victor Price. The protest, coordinated by GetEQUAL, came one month after Choi and Pietrangelo last handcuffed themselves to the White House fence.
