The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington prepared for their all-male performance of “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” with a dress rehearsal open to the public on Thursday, March 17. Proceeds from the open rehearsal went to the DC Center. Regular performances of the show will run from Mar. 18 – 20 at Lisner Auditorium on the campus of George Washington University. The Human Rights Campaign National Dinner was held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 26. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.) was the keynote speaker. Awards were presented to Marcia Gay Hardin, Junior LaBeija and André De Shields. Nina West of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ performed.
