The great Escape at Town
DJ Escape, aka Jeff Jonas, spins at Town (2009 8th St., N.W.) on Saturday, bringing his own take on various classics to the club.
Inspired by superstar spinner, Junior Vasquez, Escape switched from hip-hop to house.
While straight, for the past 10 years Escape has only been spinning gay parties. He prefers gay parties because they appreciate his style of music. He says most straight clubs only want techno and hip-hop, which he doesn’t spin.
Doors open at 10 p.m. There will be a $8 cover until 11 p.m. that will go up to $12. All attendees must be 21 or older.
Equality Prince William Pride was held at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, Va. on Saturday, May 16.
