Feinstein returns with Gershwin show
‘Ambassador of great American songbook’ reveals personal stories working with Ira

Michael Feinstein performs his show “The Gershwins and Me” at the Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, Md) on Saturday night at 9 p.m.
The evening will celebrate the legacy of George and Ira Gershwin, and Feinstein will reveal personal stories about his six-year collaboration with Ira in his early career. Feinstein, who is openly gay, has been dubbed “ambassador of the great American songbook” and has received national recognition for his dedication to preserving and celebrating America’s popular music.
