Various places in the District are hosting watch parties for the Super Bowl Sunday.

Nellies’s Sports Bar (900 U St., N.W.) is hosting a Super Bowl watch party with drink and food specials. Come early for the drag brunch buffet for $26 at 10:30 a.m. For details, visit neliessportsbar.com.

Public Bar (1214 B 18th St., N.W.) will broadcast the game on its main floor with 31 HD TVs and a large HD projector on the main floor, in the upstairs lounge with 13 HD TVs and lounge table seating and on the rooftop bar with four HD TVs. Buffalo Billiards (1330 19th St., N.W.) will screen the game on four 10-foot projection screens and on 40 flat screen TVs. Three bars will also be in service with drink specials for the night. For more information, visit dc.buffalobilliards.com.

The New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks for Super Bowl XLIX to be broadcast live from Arizona by NBC. Idina Menzel will sing the national anthem. Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz will perform at halftime.
