Cherry HIV/AIDS charity dance returns

Cherry, a charity dance party weekend featuring numerous DJs, is April 16-19 at various locations.
April 16 is Thrust at Cobalt (1639 R St., N.W.) from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. with DJ Kostas. There is an open bar from 10-11 p.m.
April 17 is Gravity at the Howard Theatre (620 T St., N.W.) from 10 p.m.-4 a.m. Beth Anne Sacks will give a performance and DJ Twin will play music. Admission is $25.
April 18 is Moodonna Vol. II at Town (2009 8th St., N.W.) from 2-7 p.m. with DJ Joe Gauthreaux in a birthday tribute to Dr. Moody Mustafa. Tickets are $25. Also April 18 is Red Planet from 11 p.m.- 4 a.m. with DJ Tom Stephan and DJ Mike Reimer. Guests should wear red. Tickets are $15 at the door and $20 in advance.
April 19 is Eclipse with DJ Isaac Escalante and DJ X Gonzalez at Tropicalia (2001 14th St., N.W.) from 3:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Tickets are $50. Also on April 19 is DJ Benny K and DJ Sean Morris at Flash (645 Florida Ave., N.W.) from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Tickets are $10.

Celebrate the start of Pride month at the Queer Magic Dance Party at the Black Cat on Saturday, June 6. Doors open at 9 p.m.
There will be pole performances and demonstrations, a free photo booth with glitter bar, a queer vendor market, tarot readings by Skye Marinda Tarot, a drag performance by Sapphica, and dancing to a blend of smooth R&B, Afrobeats, hip-hop and pop by Slammer & Saba. Here’s where to watch ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ with fellow fans
Entertainers TrevHER and Grey host event with live performance
Spark Social Events will host “Ru Paul’s Drag Race S18 Watch Party Hosted by Local Drag Queens” on Friday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m.
Drag entertainers TrevHER and Grey will provide commentary and make live predictions on who’s staying and who’s going home. Stick around after the show for a live drag performance. The watch party will take place on a heated outdoor patio and cozy indoor space.

The DC Center is hosting a watch party for an episode of the 10th and final season of “Queer Eye,” which was filmed in D.C. The screening will be held on Friday, Jan. 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Center.
The screening will last 45-55 minutes, with community time both before and after the episode. Drinks and snacks will be provided and organizers promise a “surprise or two.” For information on tickets, visit the DC Center’s website.
