“The Ask Rayceen Show” with Rayceen Pendarvis returns for another taping Wednesday at LIV Nightclub (20001 11th St., N.W.) with doors to open at 6 p.m.
This month’s show features a panel discussion called “The Trans and Genderqueer Spectrum” and will feature a live musical performance by Dana Nearing and LGBT hip-hop pioneer Tim’M T. West.
Admission is free. The series continues with tapings on Aug. 5, Sept. 2, Oct. 7 and Nov. 4.

Impulse to host ‘PrEP Pool Party’ at Vida: Navy Yard

Impulse Washington DC will host “PrEP Pool Party” on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. at Vida Fitness: Navy Yard.
Get wet, get tested, and get PrEP’d at this pool party. There will be giveaways, good eats, and a limited open bar with Impulse DC + AHF DMV.
Guests are encouraged to pull up in their shortest shorts, show off that body, and dive into a night of wet skin, hot men, heavy flirting, and safer fun. Go Gay DC will host “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” at 11 a.m. at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies, together for delicious food and conversation. Attendance is free and more details are available on Eventbrite.
Black Lesbian Support Group will be at 1 p.m. on Zoom. This is a peer-led support group devoted to the joys and challenges of being a Black lesbian. For more details, email [email protected].

Job Club will be at 6 p.m. on Zoom upon request. Asexual and Aromantic Group will meet at 7 p.m. on Zoom.
