David Beckham named Sexiest Man Alive
Athlete/model succeeds Chris Hemsworth for People title

David Beckham dethroned Chris Hemsworth as People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive last night.
The reveal was announced on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with Kimmel unveiling People’s cover. Beckham, covered with a mask, video conferenced into Kimmel’s studio as audience members asked him a series of questions to figure out his identity.
The soccer star admitted to People he doesn’t feel he deserves the title.
“I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person,” Beckham said. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”
Previous Sexiest Man Alive titleholders include Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson.
