Lady Gaga gives drag tribute to Frank Sinatra

Lady Gaga transformed into Frank Sinatra during “Sinatra 100,” a tribute performance to Frank Sinatra, that aired on CBS on Sunday.

Singing the Sinatra classic “New York, New York,” she wore a black tuxedo, hat and bow tie. Her hair was slicked back to resemble Sinatra’s own short haircut. Gaga sang her heart out in her howling rendition.

“Sinatra 100” brought together some of the largest names in the music industry to pay tribute to Sinatra for his 100th birthday on Dec. 12. Other artists who performed Sinatra tunes were Sam Smith, Tony Bennett, Carrie Underwood and Alicia Keys.

The LGBTQ organization Lambda Legal held its annual “Lambda Legal in the Pines” fundraiser on Saturday, July 25. The event was held at a house on Fire Island featured in Ryan Murphy’s 2014 HBO film, “The Normal Heart.”

Organizers say over $500,000 was raised to support Lambda Legal’s national litigation and advocacy work.
