A man decided to forego a typical proposal for his boyfriend and opted for a dodgeball flash mob to pop the big question.
Michael DiMeo organized an epic surprise dance routine for his boyfriend Angelo during a dodgeball tournament in Pittsburgh, Pa. The group danced to some of Angelo’s favorite songs including “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston, “G.U.Y.” by Lady Gaga and “Trumpets” by Jason Derulo.
For the actual proposal, “Marry You” by Bruno Mars blared through the gymnasium. Angelo breaks down in tears and, of course, says yes.
“It’s dodgeball tournament Sunday and he has no idea he’s about to see a group of his friends start dancing to some of his favorite songs, but why wasn’t he invited to dance?!?! He [had] no idea this was coming and his reaction was everything I had hoped for, priceless!” DiMeo writes in the YouTube description. “To all the people who helped me put this event together, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you friends, thank you family and thank you Stonewall Sports Pittsburgh! Here’s to a new chapter! I love you all!”
