Center Global to celebrate fifth anniversary

A reception to celebrate Center Global’s fifth anniversary is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Reeves Center.

Center Global — a program of the D.C. Center for the LGBT Community — provides access to housing and other assistance to LGBT people who are seeking asylum in the U.S. More than 200 asylum seekers from around the world have received assistance from Center Global since it formed in 2012.

The reception will take place at the D.C. Center’s office at the Reeves Center (2000 14th St., N.W., Ste. 105) on Saturday from noon – 1 p.m.
