Clay Aiken joins Amazon series ‘New Dogs, Old Tricks’

Clay Aiken has joined the cast of the upcoming Amazon comedy series “New Dogs, Old Tricks.”

“New Dogs, Old Tricks” is a spinoff series of the 2016 comedy film “What Happened Last Night.” The movie, which starred Amber Rose, Shelley Regner and Jake Thomas, told the story of two college students who wake up together after a night of partying. The story is told in reverse to show how the pair ended up with each other.

Entertainment Weekly reports Aiken will star alongside “Big Brother” contestant Cody Calafiore and  Rose. Aiken will portray Nathan, the college’s resident director.

The series will also star  Jessie Godderz (“Big Brother”), David Otunga (“I Love New York 2)”, Clayton Snyder (“Lizzie McGuire”), Eric Roberts (“Heroes”) and Regner (“Pitch Perfect”).

“New Dogs, Old Tricks” begins streaming on Amazon on Sept. 28.
