Sundance 2018 is next weekend
Annual Labor Day weekend event features auctions, dances and more

CAMP Rehoboth presents Sundance 2018: In the Name of Love, a two-night party, at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center (229 Rehoboth Ave., Del.) on Sept. 1-2.
The Sundance Auction, a silent and live auction, kicks off the weekend on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 7-10 p.m. There will be an open bar and food. Lorne Crawford will serve as auctioneer and Stephen Strasser will play music for the evening.
On Sunday, Sept. 2, there will be two dances. The Sundance is from 7 p.m.- 2.am. and will feature music from DJ Joe Gauthreaux. There will be an open bar all night. At the same time as Sundance, there will be the Sundance Disco Twilight Tea featuring music from Studio 54 DJ Robbie Leslie.
Tickets are $80 for both days or $45 for one day. All proceeds will benefit CAMP Rehoboth.

Celebrate the start of Pride month at the Queer Magic Dance Party at the Black Cat on Saturday, June 6. Doors open at 9 p.m.
There will be pole performances and demonstrations, a free photo booth with glitter bar, a queer vendor market, tarot readings by Skye Marinda Tarot, a drag performance by Sapphica, and dancing to a blend of smooth R&B, Afrobeats, hip-hop and pop by Slammer & Saba. Here’s where to watch ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ with fellow fans
Entertainers TrevHER and Grey host event with live performance
Spark Social Events will host “Ru Paul’s Drag Race S18 Watch Party Hosted by Local Drag Queens” on Friday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m.
Drag entertainers TrevHER and Grey will provide commentary and make live predictions on who’s staying and who’s going home. Stick around after the show for a live drag performance. The watch party will take place on a heated outdoor patio and cozy indoor space.

The DC Center is hosting a watch party for an episode of the 10th and final season of “Queer Eye,” which was filmed in D.C. The screening will be held on Friday, Jan. 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Center.
The screening will last 45-55 minutes, with community time both before and after the episode. Drinks and snacks will be provided and organizers promise a “surprise or two.” For information on tickets, visit the DC Center’s website.
