Wentworth Miller returns in ‘Prison Break’ season 5 trailer

Michael Scofield is alive in show reboot

“Prison Break” is returning for season five after a seven year hiatus.

The show ended season four in 2009 with the death of protagonist Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). Season five reveals the ultimate spoiler that Scofield is actually still alive and behind bars.

The trailer begins with Scofield’s son Michael asking his mother Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) about his real father.

“He was like a storm appearing suddenly out of a clear blue sky, and then disappeared just as quickly,” Sara says. Her son replies “But storms can come back, can’t they?”

Scofield is imprisoned in Morocco and will face his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), whom he originally tried to break out of prison at the start of the series.

“Prison Break” season five premieres on FOX in 2017.

Rehoboth Mayor-elect Susan Stewart will speak at the Blade Foundation fundraiser on Sept. 12.

The Washington Blade Foundation will host a fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Rehoboth Beach featuring remarks from Rehoboth’s Mayor-elect Susan Stewart and Delaware state Rep. Claire Snyder-Hall.

The Foundation funds fellowships for aspiring queer journalists and enterprise journalism projects.

The event will be held at a private home in Rehoboth. Tickets are $100 and include open bar from Diego’s, catered appetizers from the Blue Moon, entertainment, guest speakers, and an auction. Tickets are available here.
