Nightly summer shows planned at Blue Moon

Miss Conception, billed as a “world-renowned delusionist” brings her new show “The Wonderful World of Miss Conception” to the Blue Moon (35 Baltimore Ave.) in Rehoboth Beach, Del., Monday night at 9:30 p.m.

It’s an all live singing show featuring favorite storybook characters with a twist. Tickets are $25 per person.

The Blue Moon has a wide range of nightly activities all through summer. Coming Monday night shows include singer Anne Steele on June 29, Sherry Vine and Joey Arias on July 6, the Chantels on July 13, soul singer Linda Clifford on July 20 and many more.

Singer Pamala Stanley, a longtime gay favorite, performs Sundays-Thursdays from 6-8:30 p.m. Drag headliner Mona Lotts performs and hosts a karaoke show on Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. and weekends are also packed with entertainment.

“Herses- Purse Frist Extravaganza” will be on Friday, May 3 at 9 p.m. at 1835 14th St. N.W. This will be an evening of dancing and performances, hosted by HAUS of Bambi Award-winning Performance Artist, BUMPER. Refreshments are also available for purchase.

Support HIV research with a drag show

El Techo will host, in partnership with Cherry Fund, a special edition of “Cherry Sundays” on Sunday, April 7 at 11 a.m. 

This event is a one-day fundraising bottomless brunch. There will be performances by Evry Pleasure, Tara Hoot and TrevHER, with DJ Lemz. All tequila shot purchases will be donated to the Cherry Fund.

The Cherry Fund raises money for LGBTQ non-profits whose primary goal is to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS with prevention, treatment and education, and mental health services.

The event costs $45, inclusive of bottomless brunch on margaritas, mimosas, Bloody Marys and Tecates.
