By on May 3, 2010

A rally May 2 in Washington’s Lafayette Park encouraged the White House to take swift action to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Speakers included Aubrey Sarvis of Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, Alex Nicholson of Servicemembers United, U.S. Army Lt. Dan Choi and former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean. Following the rally, six protesters chained themselves to the White House fence and were arrested.
