Trevor Project fundraiser

By on October 12, 2010

A fundraiser for the Trevor Project was held at Duplex Diner on Friday. Columnist Dan Savage, originator of the “It Gets Better” YouTube campaign, gave an address to the crowd through a video. Hundreds of attendees packed the Adams Morgan venue and spilled out into the street to show their support. The event raised $10,678 for the LGBTQ teen suicide-prevention hotline.
