The Kennedy Center’s revival production of the musical “Follies,” starring Bernadette Peters, opens Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Written by Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman and directed by Eric Schaeffer, “Follies” is about two couples remembering their times with “Weismann Follies” and comparing it to present time, the night before their theater is to be demolished.

The rest of the principal cast includes Jan Maxwell, Danny Burstein, Ron Raines and Elaine Page.

The show will run through June 19. Tickets range from $45 to $150. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit kennedy-center.org.
