The non-profit organization Al Sura celebrates its annual black attire party “Al Sura In Black: Let Freedom Ring” Saturday night at 8 at L’Enfant Plaza Hotel (480 L’Enfant Plaza, SW).

Al Sura’s mission is to train a new generation of HIV/AIDS activists to become advocates within their community. The group also supports and publishes research papers on HIV/AIDS, seeks to increase funding for HIV research and tries to unite ethnic/racial minority groups with allies to end HIV/AIDS.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. For more information, visit alsura.org.
