Miss Fame debuts single at Town
‘Drag Race’ motormouth to appear

Miss Fame, the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season seven contestant often chided for talking too much on the show, isn’t quieting down now. The glamazon has released the single “Rubber Doll” from her upcoming debut album.
She performs Saturday night at Town Danceboutique. Doors open at 10 p.m. with a $10 cover ($12 after 11 p.m.). Tickets are required for the 9 p.m. meet and greet. They’re $20 and include a premium seat and photos with Fame. Drag show starts at 10:30 p.m.Details at towndc.com.
“Rubber Doll is a new take on my identity,” Fame says in a press release. “It details how my obsession with beauty and makeup helped me to evolve into an alluring creating that captivates imaginations. The lyrics are taken from entries in my own journal.”
Mr. Henry’s Victorian Pub will host a gala celebrating its 60th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.
There will be signature cocktails, beer and wine; plentiful throwback hors d’oeuvres, three live bands and a cocktail attire red carpet.

Go Gay DC will host “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” at 11 a.m. at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies, together for delicious food and conversation. Attendance is free and more details are available on Eventbrite.
The DC LGBTQ+ Community Center will host “RA Xtra: Manhood” at 1:30 p.m. “MANHOOD” follows Dallas entrepreneur Bill Moore as he attempts to make penis enlargement as commonplace as Botox. Along the way, an OnlyFans star and a father of five put their bodies—and their insecurities—on the line.
