The Washington Blade honored this year’s winners at Town
The Washington Blade held its Best of Gay D.C. party at Town Danceboutique on Thursday, Oct. 22 to honor this year’s winners. The event was hosted by Ba’Naka with special performaces by Frankie & Betty, Summer Camp, Ba’Naka, Avery Austin, Destiny B. Childs, Private Tails.

Denali (@denalifoxx) of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” performed at Pitchers DC on April 9 for the Thirst Trap Thursday drag show. Other performers included Cake Pop!, Brooke N Hymen, Stacy Monique-Max and Silver Ware Sidora.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
