#ReadNaked calendar released
Project features gay and bi men of color

The Multicultural LGBT Literary Foundation has released a literary-themed 2016 calendar as part of its #ReadNaked campaign.
#ReadNaked aims to promote that reading can be fun and sexy for young gay and bisexual men of color.
The calendar features openly gay and bisexual models of color posing alongside books and quotes by gay authors of color. Models included in the calendar are Andrew Christian models Arad Winwin and Cheddy O, model Rodiney Santiago, adult film star Scotty Marx, model Wiko Ezra and more.
Authors included in the calendar are Richard Blanco, James Baldwin, Benjamin Alire Sáenz, Rigoberto González, Justin Torres and Lysley Tenorio.

The Wanda Alston Foundation held its Fall Reception at the Penthouse Rooftop at The Wharf on Friday, Sept. 18. Honorees included D.C. Councilmember Robert White, Director of the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs Japer Bowles, and the Washington Capitals. Rayceen Pendarvis served as the emcee and entertainment was provided by the Thomas Circle Singers.
