Trans YouTuber Gigi Gorgeous gets documentary

Transgender YouTuber Gigi Gorgeous has landed a documentary about her life, Variety reports.
Gigi Gorgeous, born Gregory Lazzarato, is a 23-year-old beauty and fashion guru on YouTube with more than two million subscribers. The currently untitled project by filmmaker Barbara Kopple will chronicle the YouTuber’s life from childhood through her transition.
YouTube Red, a paid subscription service, will release the documentary as part of its original programming.
“I’ve spent the last five years going through a very personal journey,” Gigi Gorgeous said in a statement. “I’m nervous but thrilled to lift the curtain and share my intimate details and experiences through this film on YouTube Red.”
