‘Drag Race’ top three at Town next weekend

Town Danceboutique (2009 8th St N.W.) has Pride events all weekend.

On Friday, June 10,  Kim Chi, a finalist on season eight of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” joins the Ladies of Town Drag Show with Shi-Queeta-Lee, Riley Knox, Ba’Naka and Tatianna, also a “Drag Race” alum.

Following the show, there will be dancing with music by DJ Wess upstairs along with the Town GoGo Boys and music and video by BacK2bACk downstairs.

Saturday’s event will feature season eight “Drag Race” winner Bob the Drag Queen and runner-up Naomi Smalls in the Ladies of Town Drag Show. The show will also be followed up with dancing on two floors with music by Ed Bailey upstairs and music and video by DJ Wess downstairs. Tickets range from $25-45. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for meet-and-greet ticket holders and 9 p.m. for drag show ticket holders. For more information, visit towndc.com.

  • Wonder how metro’s construction plans will impact getting to and from all the Pride events this year? I’ve always said Metro is a lousy thing to depend on when you want to go into town for club events.
