Center for Black Equity celebrates museum opening

The Center for Black Equity hosts “Our Lives, Our History, Our Museum: a LGBTQ Celebration of the Opening of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture” at Human Rights Campaign (1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.) on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 7-9 p.m.

The event is in celebration of the grand opening of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture on Saturday, Sept. 24. Singer and LGBT activist Frenchie Davis will perform. Refreshments will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
