Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby will participate in the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday for the second year in a row.

The NHL reports Holtby and Mystics players Natasha Cloud and Ivory Latta will walk as part of the Monumental Sports & Entertainment contingent in the parade.

Holtby has been a longtime supporter of the LGBT community. Last year, the 27-year-old marched in the Capital Pride Parade celebration. This year he was appointed the Washington Capitals’ LGBT-inclusion ambassador as part of the NHL’s collaboration with You Can Play, an initiative to fight homophobia in sports.

In February he wore a custom “equality mask” during a hockey game as part of the NHL’s Hockey is For Everyone month.
