‘Golden Girls’ cruise scheduled to sail in 2020
Entertainment includes a cheesecake party and bingo night
“Golden Girls” fans can soon set sail on a theme cruise designed just for them.

The cruise departs on Feb. 24, 2020 for five nights with stops in Key West, Fla. and Cozumel, Mexico. Onboard activities include Dorothy’s Bingo Night, a cheesecake party, bar crawls, arts and crafts, trivia and a “One Night in St. Olaf Dance Party.”
There will also be activities that aren’t specifically “Golden Girls” themed such as live music performances, live comedy, circus performances, magic shows and more.
Tickets start at $1,000 per person for a standard cabin and $1,200 for a cabin with a balcolny. All tickets include an unlimited drinks package.

The Wanda Alston Foundation held its Fall Reception at the Penthouse Rooftop at The Wharf on Friday, Sept. 18. Honorees included D.C. Councilmember Robert White, Director of the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs Japer Bowles, and the Washington Capitals.
