Bishop Gene to host discussion

The Washington National Cathedral hosts a virtual discussion of the film “For They Know Not What They Do” with Bishop Gene Robinson on Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. via Zoom. A link to local theaters digitally screening the film will be sent to those who register. Prices may vary.

The film, directed by Daniel Karslake, features four families who face choices about their religion and their sexuality as they move towards acceptance. The Washington National Cathedral’s LGBTQ Alliance presents this film which premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and was released nationwide on June 12. 

Bishop Robinson, the ninth bishop of the New Hampshire Episcopal Diocese, was the first openly gay bishop in the Anglican Communion.
