Nominate your favorites in each category through September 7th. The top 5 nominees will move forward as finalists, with voting beginning on September 15th.
We’ll honor the winners at the Best of LGBTQ DC Awards Party on Thursday, October 16th, and showcase them in our special issue released Friday, October 17th.

The Wanda Alston Foundation held its Fall Reception at the Penthouse Rooftop at The Wharf on Friday, Sept. 18. Honorees included D.C. Councilmember Robert White, Director of the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs Japer Bowles, and the Washington Capitals. Rayceen Pendarvis served as the emcee and entertainment was provided by the Thomas Circle Singers.
