‘Transparent’ releases season two trailer
Episodes available Dec. 11 through Amazon Prime
Emmy Award-winning series “Transparent” has released its season two trailer. The second season will stream on Amazon Prime on Dec. 11.
The second season shows Maura (Jeffrey Tambor) facing new struggles, such as learning how to properly say “Yas, Queen” and continuing to deal with her family and transition. Oldest sibling Sarah (Amy Landecker) also deals with sharing her children with her estranged husband. The trailer also reveals a wedding.
Last summer creator Jill Soloway spoke about “Transparent’s” role in trans issues at the Television Critics Association press tour.
“Over the course of the past year, as it has become this tsunami in the zeitgeist, the most exciting part is the civil rights movement,” Soloway says. “Even though we’re making a television show to feel like it’s all for a larger cause is the most exciting part of all of this.”
