Demi Lovato says she’s always been open to dating men and women
the pop star has been hesitant to talk about her sexuality

Demi Lovato got candid about her sexuality while promoting her upcoming documentary “Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated.”
In her documentary, Lovato, 25, reportedly discusses how she has joined dating apps. She also shares that she is looking for a human connection and is interested in both men and women.
Speaking with Extra, Lovato is asked when she came to that realization. Lovato responds, “That’s how I’ve always felt.”
Although she has been spotted holding hands with DJ/producer Lauren Abedini, Lovato has been hesitant to speak about her sexuality.
“I feel like it’s irrelevant to what my music is all about. I stand up for the things that I believe in and the things that I’m passionate about, but I like to keep my personal life as private as possible when it comes to dating and sexuality and all that stuff just because it has nothing to do with my music,” Lovato told PrideSource in September. “If ever I want to talk about it, I want it to be on my own terms.”
It seems Lovato will get her chance in her new documentary.
“Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated” streams on YouTube on Oct. 17.
