Eric Himan performs with the Soultre’ Singers at Town (2009 8th St., N.W.) during Bear Happy Hour, Friday from 6-11 p.m. The time of the performance is TBA.

Himan, who’s gay, has gained a loyal following in Tulsa, Okla., but his abilities as a singer-songwriter are gaining national notice. He has been endorsed by Fender Guitars and can be heard on Sirius XM’s “The Coffee House” radio show.

The show will feature music from his new album, “Gracefully.” Much of the album features Himan on the piano and singing with a horn section.

Admission to the performance is free. For more information, visit
