CulturalDC holds its seventh annual Source Festival, a performing arts festival, at Source (1835 14th St., N.W.) starting tonight through June 29.
The festival features three full-length plays, 18 10-minute plays and three “artistic blind dates,” a collaboration of works from nine different artists. “Dontrell, Who Kissed the Sea,” one of the full-length plays to be performed, stars Dane Edidi, a transgender actress and D.C.-area resident. Edidi is the first transgender actress to perform at the Source Festival.
Tickets are $10 for artistic blind date performances and $20 for full-length plays and 10-minute plays. For a complete lineup of plays and times, visit sourcefestival.org.
