Capital Pride Alliance President Bernie Delia spoke at the main stage of Capital Pride, “by now, we’ve all heard about the tragedy in Orlando. Our thoughts are with all of our brothers and sisters there. We deplore this horrendous action.”

Delia then asked attendees to observe a moment of silence.

The Gay Men’s Chorus then sang the national anthem.

YOUR president betrays you, as he continues to call these animal’s religion, “peaceful.” It has begun.

    • A hateful coward empowered by a gun made this happen, not our President. Nothing has “begun;” this will happen again and again because people like you will forever remain willfully ignorant.

        • Trump actually looks slightly sensible on gun control today. That must burn a bit :)
