Jaden Smith is new face of Louis Vuitton’s womenswear line
Teen star wears skirt for Louis Vuitton ad
Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, has been announced as the face of Louis Vuitton’s SS16 womenswear line for its new campaign.
Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière released the news via his Instagram account posting two photos of Smith from the campaign.
Smith, 17, is shown wearing a white fringed top, leather jacket and a long, pleated skirt. In the first photo he is shown by himself and in the other he is joined by female models Sarah Brannon, Rianne Van Rompaey, and Jean Campbell.
“Happy to introduce Jaden Smith @christiaingrey in the new SS16 @louisvuitton ad Campaign,” Ghesquière captioned the first photo.
This isn’t the first time Smith has been photographed wearing a skirt; he has frequently been spotted wearing skirts and dresses in his everyday life.
The teen has also been vocal about gender identity in clothing. Last year, he posted a photo of himself wearing a dress on Instagram with the caption “Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean ‘Clothes.'”
