Caitlyn Jenner will guest star on ‘Transparent’ season three

Caitlyn Jenner is set to guest star in the third season of “Transparent,” according to the Associated Press.

Creator and executive producer Jill Soloway revealed in an interview at the GLAAD Media Awards that the reality star will be begin filming for the show next week.

Soloway says Jenner’s involvement is a “dream come true.”

“We are all part of the same community. A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in her show, ‘I Am Cait,'” Soloway told the Associated Press.”Lots of crossover. Lots of friends.”

“Transparent” producer Zachary Drucker is also a friend of Jenner’s and appears frequently on “I Am Cait.”

Details on Jenner’s character have yet to be announced.

Jenner and Soloway were both winners at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards. “I Am Cait” tied with “I Am Jazz” for Outstanding Reality Program. “Transparent” also picked up an award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The LGBTQ organization Lambda Legal held its annual “Lambda Legal in the Pines” fundraiser on Saturday, July 25. The event was held at a house on Fire Island featured in Ryan Murphy’s 2014 HBO film, “The Normal Heart.”

Organizers say over $500,000 was raised to support Lambda Legal’s national litigation and advocacy work.
