Melissa Harris-Perry is Elle.com’s new Editor-at-Large, the magazine announced on Monday.

According to CNN, Harris-Perry won’t be working full time but will be writing, hosting videos ,conducting interviews and appearing on camera to represent the website.

“Joining ELLE.com is an opportunity to combine my expertise as a scholar, my commitments as a public intellectual, and my interests as a woman,” Harris-Perry said in a statement. “I am thrilled to tell my loyal television audience where they can find me and to introduce myself to brand new audiences, all while telling the stories of extraordinary women and girls.”

Harris-Perry tweeted she was excited for her new role and plans to focus on race and gender “primarily through telling the stories of women and girls of color.”

Harris-Perry parted ways with MSNBC in February after a dispute with the network over what she could cover on her show.
