Colton Haynes will make his return to the CW series “Arrow,” according to Deadline.

Haynes is confirmed to reprise his role as Roy Harper (Arsenal) after his official exit from the show in season three. He returned briefly for season four but will now come back for a larger arc.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Colton Haynes will be reprising his role as Roy Harper for a short arc on Arrow this year,” executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle said in a statement. “Roy is called back to Star City to help resolve an urgent matter with high stakes for the team. His short visit turns into something surprising when he reunites with Thea and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences…”

Haynes had been teasing his comeback before the announcement tweeting, “Roy’s coming back very soon.”

Now with confirmation, the actor tweeted his excitement to be back on the show.

“Arrow” returns Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. on CW.
