Broadway stars and Rosie O’Donnell plan protest outside the White House

Broadway performers and Rosie O’Donnell will protest outside of the White House on Monday, Aug 6 at 7 p.m. with a musical serenade.

According to the Hill, O’Donnell will be joined by past and present cast members of “Wicked,” ”Beautiful,” ”Hamilton,” ”Phantom of the Opera,” ”The King and I,” “Les Miserables,” “Cinderella,” “Xanadu,” ”The Producers,” “Head Over Heels” and more.

The set list will include “The People’s Song” from “Les Miserables,” “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” by Burt Bacharach, ”A Brand New Day” from “The Wiz” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” from “The Sound of Music.”

Sirius XM’s “On Broadway” host Seth Rudetsky and his husband James Wesley are organizing the protest which will be streamed on MoveOn’s Facebook.
