Falsettos,” a Tony Award-winning musical about a gay man, his wife, his lover and their son, will run at the Kennedy Center (1412 F St., N.W.) June 11-23. Tickets start at $49.

This new production stars Nick Adams (“La Cage aux Folles,” “Priscilla Queen of the Desert”) as Whizzer, Nick Blaemire (“Tick, Tick…Boom!,” “Cry-Baby”) as Mendel, Eden Espinosa (“Wicked, Brooklyn The Musical,” “Rent”) as Trina, and Max von Essen (“An American in Paris,” “Evita,” “Les Misérables”) as Marvin.

“Falsettos” revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin along with his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist and the lesbians next door. It’s been called a “hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family.”
