Police log: June 22

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Gay & Lesbian Liaison Unit participated in the following investigations:
- On June 13, 12 members of the GLLU received a call from a community member from a different jurisdiction requesting advice regarding a domestic incident. The individual was provided with appropriate resource agency information.
- On June 12, in the 300 block of 37th Street, S.E., a woman was involved in a verbal altercation with her neighbor. During the altercation, the woman alleges the suspect used homophobic language toward her. No offense took place.
- On June 12, in the unit block of Rhode Island Avenue, N.E., a complainant was assaulted and threatened by a suspect. The two are engaged in a domestic relationship.
- On June 11, at 8th and E streets, N.W., two complainants were engaged in a verbal altercation with another individual. They tried to leave and the manager made them wait for MPD to bar them from the listed location.
